The Clinical Research Centre Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan Kuantan (CRC HTAA) Clinical Research Centre (CRC) is one of the six research institutes under the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Ministry of Health Malaysia. Established in 2000, CRC has expanded to 33 branches at major hospitals in Malaysia. CRC Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan (HTAA) was established in 2003, its aim is to cultivate a research culture among clinicians, compilation of information regarding all clinical research activities carried out in HTAA, and provide assistance to researchers. In the long term, CRC HTAA aims to ensure excellence and quality of clinical trials and establishing a centre of excellence in specific clinical area.
